Begin preparing for a networking career with this superb introduction to how VoIP networks operate in a Small Office or Home Office VoIP system using a “REAL-CISCO-HARDWARE”. This includes learning the basic network VoIP design for minor workplace environment, Identifying the parts and hardware you need to setup VoIP network, Cisco Switch 3560 PoE initial configuration to VLAN creation, Cisco Router 2811 ISR initial configuration to Inter-VLAN Routing using Subinterfaces, Setting-up TFTP Server, DHCP Server, NTP Server; all in all, I summing up everything for you in very easy way.
We’re not done yet! In this course you will learn the call-processing application in Cisco IOS software that enables Cisco routers to deliver key-system or hybrid PBX functionality for enterprise branch offices or small businesses. You will learn how to configure the Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express (CUCME or CME) on c2811 router with Telephony-Service, the Ephone and Ephone-DN configuration, and connecting the physical IP Phones to computers. Also, I’ll demonstrate to you the use of Foreign Exchange Office (FXO) and Foreign Exchange Station (FXS) using Analog telephones. And finally, you will see those devices including Cisco IP Communicator and Mobile Phone in action altogether when we put all the pieces together.

Prerequisite for this course
- The students need to have a basic knowledge of computer and networking skills in order to be successful in this course.
- Here are some of the highlights: Knowledge of components and operation of Cisco routers and switches using a Command Line Interface or CLI.
- You should have a rudimentary understanding of the following: IPv4 addressing, VLAN, Trunk Port, Access Port, Inter-VLAN Routing using Router Subinterfaces, and DHCP.
